Raymarine is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the LightHouse II Software – Release 13 (version 13.37) software for the a, c, e and gS Series Multifunction Displays, replacing the previous software version v12.26 and all previous versions.
The release of LightHouse Version 13 software aligns the software version across all a, c, e and gS Series Multifunction Display products. Lighthouse II Release 13 software consists of application software version 13.37, platform software version 13.31, media files version 13.03 and cartography base map version 1.15
The version 13.37 software provides a number of key feature and enhancements, in particular:
Added support for Jeppesen C-MAP 4D MAX / 4D MAX+ cartography
Improved Chart Object hot-spotting (call-outs)
Added ‘Interrupt’ GoTo navigation function
Improved Software Update process

With Lighthouse Version 13, the Raymarine Multifunction Display products are compatible with C-MAP Essentials, C-MAP 4D MAX and 4D MAX+ cartography offering unprecedented chart choice.
New C-MAP Essentials chart bundles provide all critical navigation aids, chart objects, marine icons with basic information (i.e. names & telephone numbers), coastal data includes normal contours and spot depths up to 20m (60’), as well as current 24 hour tide prediction.

Raymarine Cartography Support
With the additional support of Jeppesen cartography with the release of Lighthouse Version 13 Software, Raymarine Multifunction Display products have the option of three cartography choices: Navionics, C-Map by Jeppesen and Raymarine’s ever-expanding range of Lighthouse charts giving the user a flexible navigation experience.
The feature of hot-spotting chart objects has been improved with the use of the ‘call-out’ option, available through the Display Preferences menu, default is on.
With the call-out option enabled, touching an object on the chart application will view the full name, range and bearing.
Call-out supports long object names
Touch the call-out to open the context menu for the chart object
Call-out follows the object and will automatically time-out after 10 seconds
If the correct location has not been selected, the call-out can be repositioned by swiping over another object area or area
Call-outs can be closed by touching a different location, by panning, by zooming or by pressing the Back button
Feature limited to the touch screen Multifunction display products including a, e & gS Series products.
NEW Interrupt Feature
With an active Goto in use, the ability to change destination has been added to the chart context menu, with access to a ‘Goto Cursor’ option; ideal for use in the instance where your rendezvous point changes during an active Goto.
This feature is available:
if connected to an Evolution autopilot and autopilot integration is OFF/ON
if connected to a Legacy autopilot and autopilot integration is OFF
This feature is not available if you're following a route
Improved System Software Upgrade Process
Updating the Multifunction Display to the Lighthouse Version 13 will provide access to an improved and user intuitive software upgrade process for Multifunction Displays and peripheral Raymarine products on the SeaTalkng and SeaTalkhs network.
The required software files can be downloaded and copied onto a single microSD card and inserted into the chart reader of the Multifunction Display, using the Check Card for Updates feature under the Maintenance menu will detect all products and provide their current software versions, along with detecting the applicable software update on the microSD card.
The Check Card for Updates feature will automatically identify which products may require software updating which can be user enabled/disabled. Selecting the required software updates will provide an estimated time of the complete software upgrade process.
